2011 NowRouz Festival in Dallas

M&A Law Firm participated in “2011 Dallas NowRouz Festival” held at Plano Center in Plano, TX. This festival was a part of the annual NowRouz celebration.

NowRouz is the New Year in Iranian calendar or mostly referred as Persian New Year. It is mainly celebrated by Persian people as the first day of the spring and the first day of the year. NowRouz is celebrated on the day of the astronomical vernal equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous or following day.

The Persian community in Dallas Fort-Worth area has been actively involved in the preparation of the NowRouz Festival. The celebration includes Persian Dances, Persian Poetry, theater, choir and music. The event also has Persian Food, clothing exhibitions, business booths, and display of NowRouz related traditional items.

M&A Law Firm has been participating in this event for last several years. Our staff and attorneys normally go to business booth of the firm and meet members of Persian community and share the festivities of this beautiful event.
