Mr. Steve Sanderfer is the senior litigation attorney at Modjarrad & Abusaad (M&A) Law Firm. He is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, State of Texas, U.S. District Court - Northern District of Texas, U.S. District Court - Eastern District of Texas, and U.S. District Court - Western District of Texas.

He practices primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and Criminal Defense.

Mr. Sanderfer attended University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Public Relations in 1982. He then earned a Juris Doctor from The Thomas Cooley Law School in 1989.

Mr. Sanderfer began his legal career as a bailiff/law clerk for a circuit court while attending law school full time. After passing the bar, he joined Army where he served in the Judge Advocate General's Corp where he served as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and held a position where he was the legal liaison between the Military and American Embassy in Honduras. Steve left the army in 1996 as a Captain.

Mr. Sanderfer was elected to three times as a city councilman for the City of Lancaster, Texas. In 2003, Steve joined Texas State Guard as Brigadier General Marshall Scantlin's Judge Advocate. Steve is currently a Major in Texas State Guard, and is enrolled in the Command General Staff College.
